The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herring shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bobby napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bobby is looking to regain half guard here but Herring keeps moving and retains side control.
Bobby bucks up and tries to throw Herring off but instead Herring has got his back!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Herring. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Bobby is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Bobby is trying to get back to his feet but Herring has full control of the position and if anything, Bobby has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Herring connects with a big shot to the side of Bobby's head.

Bobby is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Herring gets his way!

Bobby has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Herring.
Bobby is trying to stand back up.
Bobby wants to control his opponent's hands but Herring gets his hands free.
Will Herring go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Herring is not going to allow Bobby to sit and survive in this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Pasquale Herring will probably get the nod.

A quick step to the side and Herring tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bobby defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Herring.
Bobby drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Herring defends it well.
Bobby lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bobby.

Herring is rocked!

Bobby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Herring was covering up waiting for the punch and Bobby finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oh Herring is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bobby postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Herring covers up, he's hurt! Bobby keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bobby and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bobby can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
