Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bluto Braun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a decent looking hook.
Braun swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A counter left hand to the body from Braun misses its target.
Braun with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nice defenses there by Braun.
As Jones backs away, Braun returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Braun ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Braun drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Braun walks into a straight right hand from Jones.
Braun connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braun closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Braun drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Braun lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Braun's head.

Braun buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones avoids the body shot from Braun.
Braun takes a jab right on the kisser.
A chopping leg kick lands by Braun.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Braun moved out of range nicely.
Braun swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
Braun connects with an inside leg kick.
Braun lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Braun has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nemesis Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice inside leg kick there by Braun. That's going to slow Jones down.

Jones looks to land a combination. Braun sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We've been informed that Jones has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Braun has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones postures up in Braun's guard and throws a big left but Braun blocks it.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Braun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Braun's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Braun's temple.
Braun is trying to get back to full guard.
Jones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Braun is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Braun's head but Braun sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jones looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Braun.

and Braun counters with a nice leg kick.
Bluto Braun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Jones.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Braun.
Braun is looking to wear down Jones with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Good work by Jones as he checks the leg kick.
Braun cracks the inside of Jones's front leg.
Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Braun back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Braun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Braun lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
Braun moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones throws a right and a left that Braun avoids nicely.
Braun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Braun counters with a left to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Leandro Jones will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Braun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Braun.
Jones's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Braun lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Braun takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones is rocked!

Crack! Braun connects with the perfect overhand right and Jones falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Braun!
