Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Larry Cucumber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ste Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ste Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ste Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cucumber swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Larry Cucumber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cucumber closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cucumber lands in his opponent's guard.
Cucumber throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Cucumber advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Cucumber passes to side control.
Cucumber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones parries the strikes from Cucumber easily there. Cucumber is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jones to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cucumber connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jones some visible discomfort.
Cucumber postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cucumber scores with punches from side control.
Cucumber lands a strong strike to the head of Jones. That's dazed him! Cucumber looking to finish here. Jones is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cucumber lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Larry Cucumber spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
