Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiichi Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bich Nga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keiichi Yamada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Bich Nga!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nga throws a lazy right hand but Yamada sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yamada misses with a straight right.
A big left from Yamada misses.
Yamada scores with a hook.
Nga looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamada is just out of range.
Nga lands an overhand right.
Nga staying out of range there.
No luck for Yamada with that takedown attempt.
Yamada lands with a thumping leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Yamada.
Nga takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yamada moves out of range of the strikes.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yamada checks a leg kick.

Nga gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yamada stays in close to Nga's body and controls the position.

Yamada is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nga has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yamada is looking to defend but Nga has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yamada! Nga pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yamada taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bich Nga!
Bich Nga decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
