The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sawyer counters with a one-two to the body.
A swing and a miss from King.

Sawyer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sawyer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
King is trying to stand back up but Sawyer is controlling him
King is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

King has one foot on Sawyer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King throws a body punch but Sawyer moves out of range.
King fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Francois King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King misses with a double jab.
Sawyer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Jeffery Sawyer has been cut.
King misses with a series of wild punches.
Sawyer shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
King lands with an uppercut that bounces Sawyer off the cage and back into range.
King stuns Sawyer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sawyer is breathing heavily.
and King counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Sawyer! He's just covering up as King starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
