Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pro Dig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Jagodnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pro Dig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Goran Jagodnik!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dig shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jagodnik wants to control the action here but instead Dig manages to pass to full mount!

Jagodnik wants to control but Dig is having none of it.
Dig punching from mount but Jagodnik doing a good job of avoiding damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jagodnik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dig throws some wild stikes that Jagodnik manages to avoid easily.
Dig takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jagodnik is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Dig has taken his back!
Jagodnik looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
I really don't envy Jagodnik right now.
Jagodnik trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Dig is riding his opponent, not letting Jagodnik buck him off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dig keeps control of the position as Jagodnik tries to break free.
Dig gets his hands free as Jagodnik looks to control.
Dig controls the position.

Dig really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Dig controlling the positon.
Dig's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dig is persistently looking for the submission but Jagodnik is defending it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dig controlling the position well here. Jagodnik rolled but Dig kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Jagodnik is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Jagodnik is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dig gets his way!

That's time! Dig's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jagodnik is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dig with a body shot.

A frustrated look appears on Dig's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Jagodnik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dig shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dig wants to get back to striking at distance but Jagodnik won't allow it.

Jagodnik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dig pushes Jagodnik off and gets back to his feet.
Jagodnik throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dig moves to clinch but Jagodnik breaks away
and Jagodnik counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dig leaves Jagodnik with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jagodnik drives through and clinches with Dig against the cage.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Dig tries to work over Jagodnik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dig is trying to force a seperation but Jagodnik has the dominant position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jagodnik creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dig's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Goran Jagodnik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Dig closes the distance and clinches up with Jagodnik, looking for a takedown. Dig pushes Jagodnik against the cage but Jagodnik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jagodnik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jagodnik has Dig pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jagodnik pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dig tumbling to the mat - Jagodnik dives into Dig's guard.

Dig manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Dig bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jagodnik darts in looking for a takedown but Dig gets double underhooks and turns Jagodnik into the cage.

Jagodnik lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jagodnik takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Jagodnik dives in for a single leg takedown but Dig sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dig throws a big counter combination but Jagodnik scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Pro Dig is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice body kick there by Jagodnik.
Dig blocks a jab.
Dig went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jagodnik avoids a punch combination nicely.
Goran Jagodnik seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dig shoots and misses
and Jagodnik counters with a series of strikes. Dig will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pro Dig. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dig swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dig looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jagodnik is looking for the big counter here.
Dig is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jagodnik.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dig takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Dig fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jagodnik, pushing him back against the cage.

Jagodnik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jagodnik darts in looking for a takedown but Dig gets double underhooks and turns Jagodnik into the cage.

Jagodnik has closed the distance and engaged Dig in a clinch.
Dig is trying to stall.

Jagodnik tries to bum rush Dig with a series of wild strikes but Dig uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dig shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jagodnik as he avoids it easily.
It seemed like Jagodnik was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Dig pushes Jagodnik off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dig throws a right hand that Jagodnik ducks under and follows up with a left that Jagodnik also avoids with ease.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jagodnik.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Goran Jagodnik.
I think Jagodnik has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
