The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes shoots in for a takedown but Slick shows good takedown defense.
Hayes shoots in but Slick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slick lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hayes keeps the fight on the outside.
Hayes dives in and grabs Slick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slick pushes down on Hayes's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odell Hayes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hayes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slick unleashes a big counter combination but Hayes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Hayes tries for a takedown but Slick circles away easily

and Slick counters with a nice right hand that sends Hayes toppling to the canvas! Hayes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Slick finish him?!

Hayes is rocked!

It looks like Odell Hayes has been cut.
Slick misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - Slick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hayes tried to counter with a leg kick but Slick avoided it.

Oh Hayes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Slick fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Hayes out cold! Brutal finish!
