Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Russel Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Peel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Peel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Peel to counter with a crisp jab.
Dickson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dickson takes the fight into the clinch.
Peel taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Dickson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Peel has a couple of punches blocked by Dickson.
Peel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Peel scores with a shoulder strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dickson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Peel tries to clinch but Dickson moves out of range.

Peel moves into the clinch.
Dickson jumps guard but Peel stands there with Dickson around his waist. Dickson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dickson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Dickson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dickson misses with a few strikes there.

Dickson moves into range and clinches up with Peel.
Dickson is trying to pull guard but Peel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russel Dickson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice right hand lands inside from Peel.
Dickson misses with a punch to the body.
Peel lands a nice uppercut.

Dickson is rocked!
Dickson jumps guard but Peel turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Oh Dickson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peel unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Dickson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Peel is unloading with more strikes now! Dickson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
