The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bondurant keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sotin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bondurant at a distance.
Bondurant throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bondurant throws a looping overhand right but Sotin ducks down to avoid it.
Bondurant is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sotin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sotin throws a front kick aimed at Bondurant's knee but Bondurant avoids it well.

Sotin forces Bondurant back against the cage and clinches.
Bondurant tries to score a body lock takedown but Sotin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bondurant drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sotin pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sotin sends Bondurant crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sotin is motioning to the referee to let Bondurant up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bondurant avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sotin throws a nice looking combination but Bondurant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Bondurant wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bondurant looks to throw the jab but Sotin is out of range.

A chopping leg kick lands by Sotin.
A punch lands to the side of Sotin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sotin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bondurant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bondurant tries for a takedown but Sotin manages to get underhooks.

Sotin tries to work over Bondurant's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sotin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bondurant misses the jab.
Sotin fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bondurant to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bondurant looks to clinch but Sotin throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bondurant taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
