Buchanan has chosen Wait and Bleed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenalemodisa Mabogo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Buchanan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabogo goes for a double leg but Buchanan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buchanan continues to drive forward.
Mabogo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Buchanan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mabogo is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Mabogo drops Buchanan with a right and a left! Mabogo comes rushing in but Buchanan regains his composure and manages to keep Mabogo in guard.


Buchanan is rocked!


It looks like Paul Buchanan has been cut.
Mabogo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Buchanan is still in real trouble! Can Mabogo finish him?
Mabogo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mabogo stalling.
Mabogo is looking to take a break and control but Buchanan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Buchanan seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Buchanan is looking for a sweep. Mabogo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mabogo is taking a breather. Buchanan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Buchanan moves into full guard.
Mabogo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mabogo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mabogo postures up.
Buchanan wants to sweep here but Mabogo controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mabogo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mabogo cracks Buchanan with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mabogo immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Buchanan is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mabogo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenalemodisa Mabogo!
Kenalemodisa Mabogo very nearly forgot to thank SHINTO amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
