The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giantsbane swinging wildly here.

Grundy looks to land a combination. Giantsbane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Giantsbane smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Giantsbane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grundy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Giantsbane throws a nice looking combination but Grundy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Giantsbane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Giantsbane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Grundy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Grundy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grundy wants it to stay on the feet.

Grundy wants to stand but Giantsbane is controlling the position.

Grundy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Giantsbane is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Giantsbane distracts Grundy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
