PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilmer Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A head kick misses from Phoenix.
Phoenix goes for a double leg but Walter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walter continues to drive forward.
Phoenix shoots in looking for a takedown but Walter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Phoenix's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shaun Phoenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
