Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Archie Trew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Vatanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trew's entrance music is Fuck You - Lily Allen. A fine choice. Vatanen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kalmah - Heros to Us. Sami Vatanen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trew ducks under a wild hook from Vatanen.
Trew tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Vatanen manages to circle out of the way.
Vatanen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Trew in his tracks.

It looks like Archie Trew has been cut.
Vatanen lands a head shot.
Vatanen misses with an uppercut.
Trew dives in and grabs Vatanen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vatanen pushes down on Trew's head and hops out.
Vatanen throws a jab but it's blocked by Trew.
Vatanen throws a lazy right hand but Trew sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vatanen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Trew.
Trew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vatanen.
Vatanen feints a jab promting Trew to slip. Vatanen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Trew slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Vatanen gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Sami Vatanen has been cut.
Vatanen misses the jab.
Trew looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vatanen lands a nice looking body shot.
Trew on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Archie Trew's cut is getting worse.
Vatanen just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trew lands a slapping body shot.
Vatanen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Archie Trew's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fighters circling - Vatanen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vatanen avoids a kick to the body.
Trew lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A jab from Vatanen does it's job there.
Vatanen misses with a straight left.
Vatanen tries to clinch up but Trew circles away and keeps his distance.
Sami Vatanen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Trew. That's going to slow Vatanen down.
Vatanen tries to clinch but Trew moves away
and Trew counters with a nice body shot.
Trew seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Trew thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vatanen if he has to take too many more of those.
Trew lands a right hook to the body.
Vatanen looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trew chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vatanen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vatanen takes a swing at Trew's ribcage but misses.
Vatanen throws a poor cross that misses
and Trew counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Vatanen misses its intended target.
It appears Trew was looking to counter with a kick there.
Vatanen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Trew. That one must have hurt.
Trew scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vatanen doesn't seem bothered though.
Trew lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Vatanen misses with the combination.
Sami Vatanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trew dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vatanen. That did some damage!
Vatanen takes a jab right on the kisser.

Trew closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Trew cracks Vatanen with a nice body shot.
A short left from Trew.

That has opened up Sami Vatanen's cut even more.
Trew lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vatanen backwards.
Vatanen prevents a body shot from Trew.

Trew has picked Vatanen up - he's going for a ride! Trew dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Vatanen told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Trew looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vatanen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Trew lands a nice short elbow.

The cut above Sami Vatanen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Trew seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sami Vatanen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sami Vatanen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
