The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts shoots in but no luck this time.
Heart lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Roberts backs up against the cage.
Heart fails to land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Heart throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Roberts drops down looking for a counter takedown but Heart sprawls and moves away.
Jeff Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heart tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Roberts was well out of range. Poor timing from Heart.

Heart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roberts.
Heart has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Roberts or perhaps it was just good defense by Heart, which made it look bad.

Roberts wants to stand and escape but Heart is having none of it.

Roberts manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Heart keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Roberts goes for a double leg but Heart avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Heart continues to drive forward.

Roberts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Heart sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roberts somewhat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Roberts takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Heart lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Oooooh!!! Heart has knocked Roberts down with a huge combo! Heart steps away and waves a wobbly Roberts back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Heart drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Roberts right on the button. Roberts goes down! Heart follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Heart gets the win via TKO!

Peter Heart decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
