The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

No joy there for Pegas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jorgsigason fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jorgsigason gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pegas.
Pegas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jorgsigason.
Pegas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jorgsigason doesn't seem bothered though.
Jorgsigason wants to clinch but Pegas slips to the side
and Pegas counters with a three punch combo that has Jorgsigason backing up. Jorgsigason nods at Pegas to acknowledge the strikes.

Pegas scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jorgsigason in his tracks.

Jorgsigason throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pegas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pegas cracks Jorgsigason with an open hand slap.
Jorgsigason fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pegas manages to avoid it.
Pegas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jorgsigason shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Pegas.
Jorgsigason is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jorgsigason drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pegas manages to get back to half guard.
Pegas looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jorgsigason is keen to just control but Pegas is a slippery customer.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jorgsigason tries to close the distance and clinch but Pegas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pegas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jorgsigason. That did some damage!

Jorgsigason doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pegas connects with a leg kick. Jorgsigason looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jorgsigason shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jorgsigason takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pegas cracks Jorgsigason with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jorgsigason takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Pegas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Pegas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Pegas dips to his left and cracks Jorgsigason with an uppercut!

JonPaul Jorgsigason's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Pegas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jorgsigason.
Jorgsigason takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pegas throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Pegas lands with a hook. Jorgsigason tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at JonPaul Jorgsigason's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
