The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragnovskji stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dragnovskji misses with a straight left.
Dragnovskji swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Penn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dragnovskji's knee momentarily.
No joy there for Dragnovskji, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It appears Penn was looking to counter with a kick there.
Dragnovskji smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dragnovskji throws a big shot that misses.
Penn is looking to counter with head kicks.

Dragnovskji clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Penn breaks from the clinch.
Penn ducks under a wild hook from Dragnovskji.
Penn cracks Dragnovskji with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Penn counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dragnovskji! Penn lets Dragnovskji back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Dragnovskji is rocked!
Penn looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Penn backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Dragnovskji's temple! It sends Dragnovskji violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Penn celebrates and the doctors try to help Dragnovskji!
