Rakija has chosen Rakija as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alfredo Barbosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Barbosa misses
letting Rakija counter with a right hand.
Barbosa tried to score with a low kick but Rakija checks it.
Rakija throws a nice looking combination but Barbosa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rakija looks to land a body kick but Barbosa moved away.
Rakija fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barbosa manages to avoid it.
Barbosa scores with a jab. Rakija acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rakija misses with a head kick.
Rakija moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barbosa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Barbosa throws a body punch but Rakija moves out of range.
Rakija tries a quick counter leg kick but Barbosa is wise to it.
Rakija thuds his right hand into Barbosa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rakija throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barbosa swats away the attempt to clinch by Rakija.
Barbosa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rakija. Rakija obviously looking to wear him down.
Barbosa cracks a nice hook into Rakija's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rakija misses with an uppercut. Barbosa saw that one coming.

Rakija throws out a leg kick but Barbosa moves out of range and Rakija only half commits.
Rakija scores with a nice head shot.
Rakija fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A jab from Barbosa misses.
Rakija throws a hook but Barbosa blocks it.
Barbosa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rakija.
Rakija uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Barbosa has time to react.
Alfredo Barbosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rakija rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barbosa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barbosa scores with a hook to the body. Rakija takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Barbosa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Barbosa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rakija throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rakija throws a head kick but Barbosa moves out of range.
Rakija swings widly with a right hand

and Barbosa counters with a head kick that drops Rakija to the mat! Rakija scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rakija is rocked!

and Barbosa counters with a huge left! Rakija is in big trouble! He's backing up but Barbosa isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rakija from any more damage. A dominating finish by Barbosa!
