Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zackary Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budda Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Drowning - A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines shoots in but no luck this time.

Baker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gaines was covering up waiting for the punch and Baker finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gaines manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baker manages to get himself to full guard.

Baker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaines can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gaines is fighting to break Baker's control of his arms but Baker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gaines will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
