Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Federline!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Federline tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kevin Federline seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Federline looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
King slips a jab and a cross from Federline.

King scores with a takedown into Federline's guard.

Federline wriggles free and stands up.
Nice uppercut lands for Federline. That snapped King's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Federline feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
King throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
King throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Federline wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard.
Federline is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Federline preventing the sweep.
King controls Federline momentarily but Federline frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Federline wanted to stand there but King had control of the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Federline connects with a looping right hand.
King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Federline lands a lovely overhand right.
Federline throws out a powerful jab.
King looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A lazy left from Federline finds it's target.
Federline tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A jab from Federline does it's job there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Federline connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Federline connects with the punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Federline, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Federline connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.


King is rocked!
King get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. King stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Federline runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin Federline!
