Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tad Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lop Criato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lop Criato is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tad Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lop Criato!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Criato is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cash's half guard.
Cash controlling the position for now.
Criato wants to control but Cash is keeping him busy.
Cash could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cash actively working from the bottom here.
Criato is pressing down on Cash's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cash is holding on for now.
Cash is holding on to half guard well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Criato is keen to just control but Cash is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cash controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Criato wants to take a breather but Cash is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Criato shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cash's guard.

Criato wants to stand and escape but instead Cash has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Cash scoring with some ground and pound.

Cash drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cash jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Criato wants to get back to his feet but Cash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cash is working Criato over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Cash thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Criato looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cash landing with the ground and pound.

Cash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Criato working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cash.
Cash postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Cash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Criato dives on top into guard.

Cash is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Criato throws an elbow that misses. Cash uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Criato's guard. Nice move by Cash!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cash is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tad Cash will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cash goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Criato throws a fast counter high kick but Cash manages to duck under it in time.
Criato misses with a leg kick.

Cash gets caught flat footed, as Criato shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cash seems keen to control Criato's posture.
Criato looking to sit in guard and control but Cash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Criato wriggles free and stands up.
Criato is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cash shoots in and bounces Criato off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cash has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Criato wants to get back to his feet but Cash is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cash lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Cash drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cash jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cash stands up over Criato, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Criato really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cash throwing strikes but missing.
Cash content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cash is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Cash keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Criato's head.
Cash postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Criato looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cash is one step ahead there.

Cash working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Criato's head.
Cash works over Criato with some ground and pound from guard.
Cash content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cash's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cash is working Criato over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cash keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Criato's head.

Cash chips away with some ground and pound.

Cash drops back looking for a leg! Criato is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Criato manages to kick Cash off! Cash jumps back into Criato's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cash lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tad Cash dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Cash pushes Criato up against the cage in a clinch.
Cash stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Cash looking for a takedown.
Cash is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Criato can do to turn this around?
Cash tries to land knees in the clinch but Criato avoids the damage to the body.

Cash lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Criato scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cash manages to mount him!

Criato takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cash has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Cash goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Criato turns into him and now he's in Cash's guard.

Criato is sitting in close to Cash's body. Cash has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Criato is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Criato is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cash.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tad Cash!
