Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henzo Hacie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Makaronelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henzo Hacie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enzo Makaronelli!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hacie shoots in for a double leg but Makaronelli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hacie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Makaronelli as he avoids it easily.
Makaronelli scores with a hook.
Makaronelli gets a double leg takedown into Hacie's guard.
Makaronelli controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hacie has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hacie has an active guard here but Makaronelli has managed to pass into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Makaronelli stands and throws Hacie's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hacie tries to lock up and control but Makaronelli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hacie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's time! Hacie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hacie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hacie shoots in looking for a takedown. Makaronelli tries to sprawl out of it but Hacie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Makaronelli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Makaronelli throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hacie was covering up waiting for the punch and Makaronelli finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Makaronelli is pushing down on Hacie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hacie is fighting to maintain full guard but Makaronelli has managed to sneak the leg through.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Makaronelli wants to take a breather but Hacie is having none of it.

Hacie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Makaronelli is working away from the top position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Makaronelli throws a head kick but Hacie moves out of range.
Hacie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hacie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Makaronelli is looking to reverse the position.
Hacie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well Makaronelli has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
