Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bradford Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Copenhagen Geoghegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bradford Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Copenhagen Geoghegan!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Geoghegan moves into the clinch.
Doyle blocks a body shot from Geoghegan.

Geoghegan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Geoghegan looks to land a body kick but Doyle moved away.

Geoghegan closes the distance and clinches.
Geoghegan prevents a takedown attempt there.

Geoghegan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Doyle bucks up and tries to throw Geoghegan off but instead Geoghegan has got his back!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doyle is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Geoghegan gets his way!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

You can see the frustration on Doyle's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Geoghegan just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Doyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Doyle manages to reverse the position and now he's in Geoghegan's guard. Nice work there by Doyle.

Doyle stands up over Geoghegan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Geoghegan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Doyle uses it to pass to side control.
Geoghegan wants to get back to his feet.

Doyle wants to take a breather but Geoghegan manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Doyle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Geoghegan is looking to clinch but Doyle is avoiding it.
Doyle is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Geoghegan gets a clinch.

Doyle wants the takedown. Geoghegan is fighting it off but Doyle persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Geoghegan's guard against the cage.
Doyle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Geoghegan is trying to control the position but Doyle postures up.
Geoghegan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Doyle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Doyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Geoghegan sees it coming and defends easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Geoghegan can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Geoghegan is trying to stand back up but Doyle is controlling him

Copenhagen Geoghegan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Horrible takedown attempt by Doyle or perhaps it was just good defense by Geoghegan, which made it look bad.

Doyle won't allow Geoghegan to pass to mount.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Geoghegan is continuing to stall.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Geoghegan gets a clinch.
Doyle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Geoghegan pulls his leg out and moves away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Geoghegan wants to clinch but Doyle slips to the side
and Doyle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Geoghegan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Doyle to the ground. Geoghegan is now in Doyle's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Geoghegan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Geoghegan pushes down on Doyle's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Geoghegan in side control lands a decent elbow.
A big shot lands for Geoghegan! That's hurt Doyle! Will he recover? Geoghegan fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Copenhagen Geoghegan!
