Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eiji Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki has chosen Fight with Dream as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyson Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eiji Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suzuki closes the distance and pushes Frost back into the cage.

Frost breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Suzuki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Suzuki gets tackled into the cage by Frost. Frost maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Frost's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Frost has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Frost moves into the clinch.

Frost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frost shoots in for a takedown but Suzuki shows good takedown defense.
Frost sets himself, and Suzuki steps forward looking for the clinch! Frost avoids it this time.

Suzuki drives through with a takedown into Frost's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Frost is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Suzuki is looking to stand up but Frost won't let him.
Suzuki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Frost lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Frost cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Frost pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Suzuki reaches up to try and control the position but Frost seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Suzuki rolls and tries to escape and now Frost has his back!

Frost controls the position.
Frost's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
