Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenton Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corwin Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentine has chosen I Get Knocked Down as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Grant darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Valentine has his hands clasped together around Grant's back. He's all about the action.
Valentine is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Grant scores with a couple of nice shots.

Grant thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Valentine's head.
Grant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Grant looks to land a strike but Valentine avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Valentine stands up over Grant, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Grant has momentary wrist control but Valentine slips an elbow through the middle.

Valentine arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Grant's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Corwin Valentine!
A relieved looking Corwin Valentine thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
