Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Woods!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Woods with that takedown attempt.
Woods looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Horrible takedown attempt by Woods or perhaps it was just good defense by Toure, which made it look bad.
Toure scores with a nice right hand.

William Toure has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Woods.
Toure throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woods dives in for a single leg takedown but Toure sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Woods shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Toure but Toure pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woods throws a nice looking combination but Toure bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Toure misses with a hook. Woods ducked under it nicely.
Toure cracks Woods with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Toure looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Woods takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Woods takes a shot right to the bread basket.
No joy there for Toure, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nice combo by Toure! Oh, that's hurt him - Woods falls to the canvas and Toure follows him into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Toure lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Woods down.

Toure cracks Woods with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've been hearing good reports from Toure's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
