The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kit misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Scoville drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Scoville looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Scoville with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Kit wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scoville slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Scoville tries a head kick but it misses.
Kit appears to be looking for a big counter.
Scoville keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Scoville shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kit pushes Scoville off but Scoville dives into side control.

Kit is trying to control Scoville's posture but Scoville avoids it.
Kit takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kit prevents Scoville from improving position.
Scoville advances to full mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Scoville takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Scoville looking to isolate an arm here. Kit doesn't see it coming and as Scoville extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Scoville!
