Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Pate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caitlyn Jenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jenner's choice of entrance music: Bump and Grind - R. Kelly. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pate did well to prevent Jenner getting side control.
Jenner is looking to advance position but Pate won't allow it.
Jenner passes to full mount!

Jenner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pate is looking to escape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jenner is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pate to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pate shrugs it off.

Pate tries to hold on but Jenner postures up.
Jenner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jenner's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pate is trying to escape the mount but Jenner keeps good control and instead manages to take Pate's back.
What can Pate do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
It looks like Jenner might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jenner has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Pate! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jenner gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
