Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eek Mep!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mep getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


It looks like Thomas Greiner has been cut.

Greiner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Mep working for submissions but it's allowed Greiner to get to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greiner connects with a nice short shot to Mep's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mep moves into full guard.

Greiner pushes down on Mep's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greiner connects with a nice short shot to Mep's temple.

Mep is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Greiner off and has taken his back!
Greiner has hold of Mep's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.

Mep has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Greiner has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mep has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Greiner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mep.

Mep lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Greiner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Greiner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mep looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Greiner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Greiner looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Greiner perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Greiner wants to pass the guard but Mep is defending well.

Mep manages to get to full guard.

Mep pushes a forearm under Greiner's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Greiner is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
