The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luthor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Habbit as he jumps to the side.
Habbit drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Luthor defends it well.
Luthor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Habbit . That one must have hurt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Habbit .
Habbit fails with an attempt to clinch.

Habbit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Luthor's half guard.

Luthor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
