The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escalante looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Escalante will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice combination there by Escalante.
Escalante goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Escalante scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Escalante misses with a double jab.

Frost tries to counter by clinching up but Escalante breaks away and moves out of range.
Escalante connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Frost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Escalante throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Escalante is trying to force a seperation but Frost has the dominant position.

Frost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frost misses with a kick to the body.
Escalante throws a series of strikes that have Frost backpedaling.

Escalante moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Frost is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Escalante moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Frost! Escalante continues to tee off on Frost, landing with a left and a right! Escalante connects with a right hand that leaves Frost sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Escalante!

Catalino Escalante decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
