Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Warren Daren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Cezar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cezar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Daren tried to counter with a leg kick but Cezar avoided it.
Daren ducks under a wild hook from Cezar.
Daren feinted with a counter takedown.
Daren shoots in looking for a takedown but Cezar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daren's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A left and a right from Cezar both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Warren Daren has been cut.
Cezar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cezar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cezar misses with a series of wild punches.
Daren needs to keep his hands up - Cezar had a free shot at his head there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daren bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cezar's guard.

Cezar wants to stand up but Daren is controlling him.

Daren drops back looking for a leg! Cezar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cezar manages to kick Daren off! Daren jumps back into Cezar's guard.

Daren drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Daren jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Daren sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cezar's guard.
Cezar tries to get to full guard but Daren has control of the leg.

Daren is looking for a kimura but Cezar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Daren to get the leverage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cezar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Daren is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cezar pushes Daren off looking to stand but Daren dives back in and keeps control.
Cezar is looking for a sweep. Daren is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cezar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Daren has control of Cezar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cezar regains control of the situation pretty easily.
