Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kwiwan Fogomayu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borys Mankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fogomayu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kyamadu. Mankowski has chosen Kękę -Wyjebane as his entrance music. Borys Mankowski has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 2, fighting out of London, Kwiwan Fogomayu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Borys Mankowski!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Fogomayu.
Fogomayu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fogomayu lands a head shot.
A swing and a miss from Fogomayu.
Mankowski darts in looking for a takedown but Fogomayu gets double underhooks and turns Mankowski into the cage.
Mankowski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fogomayu. Fogomayu obviously looking to wear him down.
Fogomayu feints a jab promting Mankowski to slip. Fogomayu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mankowski slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mankowski closes the distance and clinches up with Fogomayu, looking for a takedown. Mankowski pushes Fogomayu against the cage but Fogomayu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jab, jab by Fogomayu - just one landing.

Fogomayu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mankowski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fogomayu is in Mankowski's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mankowski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fogomayu is aware though and is defending well.
Fogomayu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fogomayu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mankowski has momentary wrist control but Fogomayu slips an elbow through the middle.
We've been hearing good reports from Fogomayu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mankowski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fogomayu pulls his head out easily.
Mankowski is looking to improve his position.
Fogomayu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fogomayu scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Fogomayu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fogomayu is controlling the pace.

Mankowski looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mankowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Mankowski actively working from the bottom here.
Nice strikes from Fogomayu there.
Fogomayu not doing much here.
Mankowski is looking for a sweep. Fogomayu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mankowski is refusing to be controlled, as Fogomayu sits in half guard.
Fogomayu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Fogomayu prevents Mankowski from improving his position.
Mankowski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fogomayu scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fogomayu is trying to control the action in half guard but Mankowski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fogomayu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mankowski is looking for a sweep. Fogomayu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fogomayu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwiwan Fogomayu dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mankowski walks into a left hand.
Kwiwan Fogomayu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mankowski shoots in for a takedown but Fogomayu shows good takedown defense.
Mankowski moves out of range of the body kick.
Fogomayu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mankowski on the side of the head.

and Fogomayu counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Mankowski out cold! What a finish! Fogomayu is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kwiwan Fogomayu!
A relieved looking Kwiwan Fogomayu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
