PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sajad Gharibi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Snapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gharibi comes into the arena with Enter Sandman blaring out of the sound system. Snapp has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gharibi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gharibi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snapp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Snapp looks winded!

Gharibi clinches with his opponent.
Snapp blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gharibi gets through Snapp's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Bob Snapp has been cut.
Snapp should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gharibi.
Gharibi presses Snapp against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A short right from Gharibi.
A right hook to the body lands for Gharibi.
Gharibi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gharibi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gharibi is working Snapp over against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gharibi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Snapp wants a takedown but no success here.

The cut above Bob Snapp's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Gharibi throws a big uppercut that drops Snapp! More strikes from Gharibi and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Snapp lies dazed against the cage as Gharibi celebrates with his cornermen!
