PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Cebu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bailey is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fuck Tha Police. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Cebu. That's going to slow Bailey down.
Bailey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cebu throws out the jab.
Bailey wants to counter with a clinch but Cebu pushes him away.
Cebu throws a shot from downtown. Bailey moves away and avoids it.
Bailey fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bailey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bailey lands in his opponent's guard.
Bailey wants to control from the top but Cebu keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cebu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bailey is looking to take a break and control but Cebu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cebu is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bailey lands with a big left! Cebu is wobbled badly! Bailey comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Cebu to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
