Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Unknown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Unknown!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unknown misses with a low kick.
Snitch with a hook.
Unknown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Snitch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Snitch shoots in and gets a takedown into Unknown's guard.
Unknown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Snitch is controlling him.
Unknown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snitch controls the pace.
Snitch works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Unknown tries to roll over but Snitch keeps him under control.
Unknown is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Snitch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Snitch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Unknown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snitch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Unknown scrambles back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Snitch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Snitch slows the pace down in half guard.
Unknown is trying to stand up here but Snitch is controlling him well.
Snitch content to control rather than advance.
Unknown pushes Snitch off but Snitch dives into side control.

Unknown wants to get back to his feet.
Snitch is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Unknown's shoulder. That is not cool.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Unknown defending well as Snitch loads up on a big left hand.
Unknown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snitch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Unknown misses with a wild body shot.
Unknown lands a high kick!

Snitch closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Unknown's guard.
Snitch's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Snitch passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snitch prevents Unknown from standing back up.
Snitch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Unknown pushes Snitch off looking to stand but Snitch dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Donk. Snitch catches Unknown right on the button with a cross.
Snitch moves out of range as Unknown throws a body kick.
The Unknown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snitch drives through and clinches with Unknown against the cage.

Snitch is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Unknown can't fight it off and eventually Snitch manages to take the fight to the floor. Unknown looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Snitch slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Unknown swings wildly with an uppercut but Snitch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Unknown tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Snitch's elbow.

Snitch tightens his grip and picks Unknown up, before dumping him to the ground. Unknown manages to land in guard.
Unknown is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Snitch dives into side control.

Unknown looks to move to half guard but instead Snitch has passed into mount! Damn!
Snitch won't let Unknown get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Snitch controlling the pace for now.
Jon Snitch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Snitch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Unknown for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Unknown tries to reverse the position but Snitch maintains control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You get the feeling that Unknown really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Snitch dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Unknown throws a leg kick
and Snitch counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Snitch gets the takedown into side control.
Unknown is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Snitch has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Snitch controlling the position from side mount.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Snitch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Unknown is pushing Snitch's head away, looking to escape. Snitch manages to hold on to the position though.
Snitch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Unknown can do to turn this around?
You can see the frustration on Unknown's face as Snitch controls the position.

Snitch throws a series of punches but Unknown avoids them all with ease.
Unknown looks like he wants to counter punch here.

I was talking to Snitch's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A left hand lands to the body for Snitch.
Unknown cracks Snitch with a nice body shot.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Snitch.
Snitch's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Unknown throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Unknown tries to land knees in the clinch but Snitch avoids the damage to the body.
Unknown is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Snitch is defending well for now.

Snitch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Unknown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Snitch is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Snitch lands an overhand right.
Unknown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snitch.

Snitch moves into the clinch.
Unknown can't find room to land a body shot as Snitch controls the action.
Unknown with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Unknown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snitch avoids the head kick by Unknown.

Snitch darts in and clinches Unknown up against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Unknown pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Unknown is looking for a takedown.
Unknown trying to control the position but instead, Snitch has worked for underhooks and has pushed Unknown into the cage.
Unknown throws a knee to the head but misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jon Snitch showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Snitch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
