Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vike Nickolson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vike Nickolson!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sensei scores with a punch to the head.

Sensei changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sensei paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nickolson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sensei slips a straight right by Nickolson.
Sensei swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Sensei has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Nickolson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sensei.

Nickolson throws a hook to the side of Sensei's head but Sensei sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
It looked like Sensei wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nickolson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sensei connects with a body shot.

Nickolson lands a head shot.
Sensei stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Sensei wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Sensei takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nickolson looks to land a left hand but Sensei moved out of range nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sensei working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sensei prevents Nickolson from getting back to his feet.

Nickolson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sensei is trying to pull guard but Nickolson has him pressed against the cage.
Sensei tries for a takedown but Nickolson manages to get underhooks.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kylar Sensei. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nickolson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nickolson throws out a loose jab but Sensei uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nickolson is rocked!

Sensei is working to tighten his grip on Nickolson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nickolson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sensei is really squeezing tight and eventually Nickolson passes out! Sensei breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kylar Sensei!
