Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Letaivu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pate Huntter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huntter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Letaivu manages to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Huntter.

and Huntter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Letaivu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Letaivu lands a nice hook to Huntter's body. Huntter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Letaivu swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Huntter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Letaivu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Letaivu lands with an uppercut that bounces Huntter off the cage and back into range.

Letaivu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Huntter is still on wobbly legs! Can Letaivu finish him?
Letaivu cracks Huntter on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Huntter falls backwards against the cage. Letaivu follows up with more strikes that drop Huntter to his knees. Letaivu keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Huntter! This one is all over!
