Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anderson Ken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ash Ketchum!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchum fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ketchum tries to clinch but Ken is having none of it.
Ken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ketchum.
Ken shoots in but Ketchum avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ketchum misses with a double jab
and Ken counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Ken closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ketchum striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Ken lands a nice forearm strike.
Ketchum manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ken's best efforts.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ketchum has eaten all the pies!

Ken stands up from half guard.
Ken fails with the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ken keeps the fight on the outside.
Ken tries to close the distance and clinch but Ketchum swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ken clinches up against the cage.

Ken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ketchum wants to clinch
and Ken counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Ash Ketchum has been cut.
Ken goes for a double leg but Ketchum avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ketchum continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Ken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ketchum walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ken closes the distance and clinches up with Ketchum, looking for a takedown. Ken pushes Ketchum against the cage but Ketchum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ketchum throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ken fails with the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ketchum throws a sloppy body shot
and Ken counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ketchum throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Ken to counter with a crisp jab.
Ken shoots in for a takedown but Ketchum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ketchum wants to clinch.
Ken dodges the punch combination from Ketchum.
Ketchum throws a leg kick
and Ken counters with a nice uppercut.
Ash Ketchum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ketchum moves forwards but Ken connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ketchum wants to clinch up but Ken keeps it at a distance.
Ken closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ketchum looks winded!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ken.
Ken takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ketchum stuffs the takedown.
Ketchum moves to clinch but Ken breaks away

and Ken counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ketchum!
Ken will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ketchum is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ken's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Ken! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Ketchum has tapped! This one is allllll over!
