Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Blomsten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Blomsten lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Blomsten throws a head kick that misses.
Blomsten lands a head shot.
Huber moves out of range of the body kick.
Blomsten looks to land a left hand but Huber moved out of range nicely.

and Huber counters with a nice uppercut.
Blomsten throws out a loose jab but Huber uses good head movement to avoid it.

Blomsten throws a body shot but no joy.
Huber slips a jab from Blomsten.

Huber lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Blomsten is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Huber.
Blomsten throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Huber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blomsten swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blomsten lands a nice leg kick that just misses Huber's sensitive parts.
Blomsten thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Huber if he has to take too many more of those.

Huber throws a low kick but Blomsten moves out of range easily.
Huber swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blomsten.
Huber throws a shot from downtown. Blomsten moves away and avoids it.

Blomsten fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Huber checks it well.

Blomsten lands a head kick. Huber smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Blomsten counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blomsten tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters circling - Blomsten throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A little feinted left hand from Huber on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Huber counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Arto Blomsten has been cut.
Blomsten pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Huber misses with a hook.
Nice body punch from Huber.

Blomsten avoids the body shot from Huber.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Arto Blomsten will probably get the nod.

That's time! Huber's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Huber lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blomsten is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Blomsten gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Huber gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Blomsten is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
