Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quaid comes to the cage accompanied by Total Recall. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Matt Hunt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quaid takes one to the side of the head.
Quaid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Quaid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Quaid lunges at Hunt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hunt's hand.

It looks like Matt Hunt has been cut.
Hunt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quaid sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Quaid throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Douglas Quaid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt scores with a nice right hand.
Quaid misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quaid shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Quaid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A little jabbing left from Hunt on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hunt works the jab nicely.
Hunt connects with a solid leg kick.
Quaid misses with an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Quaid throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And Hunt responds with a good body kick, but Quaid manages to step out the way in time.
Quaid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.
Hunt throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Quaid is breathing heavily.
Hunt scores with a hook.
Hunt slips under a jab from Quaid.
Quaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunt was well out of range. Poor timing from Quaid.
Quaid misses with a looping right.
Hunt is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Quaid with a body shot.
Hunt throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hunt - that will leave a mark!
A punch lands to the side of Quaid 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hunt connects with a solid leg kick.
Quaid has a takedown stuffed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunt connects with a superb combination that knocks Quaid out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Hunt before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Quaid!
