The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo misses with a takedown attempt - Mikeli sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mikeli keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Mikeli counters with a head kick. That will keep Leonardo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Mikeli throws a quick inside leg kick.
Leonardo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mikeli pinned against the cage. Mikeli gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Leonardo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mikeli lands a nice hook to Leonardo's body. Leonardo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Leonardo is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mikeli lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Ernesto Leonardo has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Leonardo.

Mikeli lands a big uppercut and Leonardo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Leonardo looks OK. Mikeli waves Leonardo back to his feet!

Mikeli ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Mikeli cracks Leonardo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mikeli has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Leonardo to stand back up!

Mikeli shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Leonardo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Mikeli sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Leonardo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Bo Mikeli decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
