Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pripyat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away.
Pripyat should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pripyat gets caught flat footed, as Lewis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pripyat preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Pripyat is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lewis is aware though and is defending well.
Lewis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pripyat looking for a guillotine here but Lewis defends easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pripyat can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lewis throws an elbow that misses. Pripyat uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lewis's guard. Nice move by Pripyat!
Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pripyat on the ground.
Pripyat trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom.
Lewis wants to stand and escape but Pripyat is having none of it.
Pripyat drops back looking for a leg! Lewis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lewis manages to kick Pripyat off! Pripyat jumps back into Lewis's guard.

Lewis wants to stand but Pripyat is controlling the position.
Pripyat throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pripyat passes into half guard.
Pripyat passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lewis!
Pripyat thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Pripyat is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lewis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Pripyat won't let Lewis get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Lewis is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pripyat looking for a guillotine from mount but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis is squirming around, avoiding Pripyat's attempts to control the action.
Pripyat with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pripyat is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lewis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lewis shrugs it off.
Lewis is trying to stand up.

Pripyat scoring with strikes but Lewis is staying in there.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Pripyat fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lewis is breathing heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pripyat cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pripyat throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lewis has his hands clasped together but Pripyat breaks the hold and Lewis is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Pripyat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Karelin Pripyat!
After winning the bout, Karelin Pripyat thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
