Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Pan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronaldo Souza!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Souza tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Souza is thwarting Pan's attempts to control the position.
Pan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pan tries to get out of the position.
Souza is trying to control. Pan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Souza is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Souza is pressing down on Pan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pan is holding on for now.
Souza is controlling the pace.

Souza works his way into full mount!
Pan wants to control but Souza is having none of it.

Souza has hold of Pan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Souza is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pan is in real trouble.
What can Pan do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Souza has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Pan is in real trouble here. Souza gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Pan is tapping out! Souza wins by rear naked choke!

Ronaldo Souza spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
