Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Byyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Dock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Byyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Dock!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byyler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dock doesn't manage to clinch there - Byyler circles away.

Byyler moves into range and clinches up with Dock.
Dock with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Dock's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Dock throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Byyler blocks it with crossed arms.
Dock landing knees to the head.
Byyler's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Byyler lands with a left to the head.
Byyler lands with a short shot to the head.
Dock looking to throw knees to the head but Byyler is blocking nicely.
Byyler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dock lands a good knee to the midsection. Byyler won't want to take too many of those.

Come on Byyler - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dock looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dock connects with a nasty looking knee right to Byyler's face.

Byyler has Dock pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Byyler pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dock tumbling to the mat - Byyler dives into Dock's guard.

Byyler gets to his feet - Dock follows without any prompting.
Byyler swats away the attempt to clinch by Dock.

and Byyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A solid leg kick lands there for Byyler.
Byyler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Byyler counters with a left and a right that stings Dock.
Bob Dock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Byyler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dock sprawls well initially but Byyler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Byyler stands up and beckons Dock to join him on the feet.
Bob Dock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Byyler misses with a few strikes there.

Dock rushes Byyler and presses him up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Byyler.
Dock lands a good knee to the midsection. Byyler won't want to take too many of those.

Byyler lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Byyler is defending well for now.

Byyler manages to break the clinch.
Byyler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dock on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Dock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Byyler paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Byyler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Dock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Byyler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Byyler lands with a nice combination. Dock backs away looking to recover.
Dock wants to clinch.
Byyler lands with a thumping leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Byyler went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Dock avoids the head kick by Byyler.
As Byyler backs off Dock throws a huge counter combo but Byyler manages to avoid it all.

Dock rushes Byyler and presses him up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Byyler looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dock tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Byyler avoids it.
Byyler throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dock blocks it with crossed arms.

Byyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Byyler closes the distance and pushes Dock back into the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Byyler pushes Dock up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hans Byyler dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Byyler thuds his right hand into Dock's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Byyler stalks Dock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dock's face. Dock staggers backwards, shaken.
Byyler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dock can do to turn this around?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dock is holding his hands too far apart here. Byyler throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Dock is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
