The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angliese dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Angliese misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Angliese ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wasa moves away.
Wasa looks to score with a jab to the body but Angliese is just out of range.
Angliese blocks a head kick by Wasa.
Angliese lands with a nice combination. Wasa backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Masa Wasa has been cut.

Wasa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Angliese quickly recovers to half guard.

Wasa is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Wasa seems to be looking for submissions.

Wasa trying to mount his opponent but Angliese defends it.

Wasa is looking for a kimura but Angliese is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wasa to get the leverage.
Wasa trying to pass the guard but Angliese defending well.

Wasa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wasa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Angliese is not content to let Wasa control the position.

Wasa is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Angliese is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

An out of breath Masa Wasa thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Bo Angliese spoke after the fight, saying 'This can't be real. All of you are on steroids! Yeah I said it, EVERYONE IS ON STEROIDS!!!'.
