The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Potter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Reed tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Potter is trying to control Reed's posture but Reed avoids it.
The strikes coming from Reed are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Reed cracks Potter with a big elbow.
Reed scoring with punches from side control.
It looks like Cyrus Potter has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reed misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
