The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knowles circles away quickly and effectively.
Knowles slips a jab and a cross from Garcia.
A punch combination from Garcia misses.
Garcia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A head kick by Knowles misses
and Garcia counters with a one-two to the body.
Garcia scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Rubin Knowles has been cut.
Fransisco Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Knowles shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Garcia scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Knowles manages to mount him!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Garcia parries the strikes from Knowles easily there. Knowles is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Garcia to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Knowles counters with a head kick. That will keep Garcia thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Rubin Knowles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Garcia motions for Knowles to come forward. Garcia throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
