Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elliott Blackwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ottaviano Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Elliott Blackwood has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Elliott Blackwood seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blackwood connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Blackwood throws a big shot that misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Hooper misses.
Hooper jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blackwood throws a solid leg kick but Hooper takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Blackwood.

and Blackwood takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Blackwood lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hooper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Blackwood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hooper has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hooper there as he acknowledges the shot.

Blackwood wants to slow Hooper down by chopping away at his legs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hooper. Blackwood does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hooper ducks under a wild hook from Blackwood.
Hooper is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Blackwood rather than just go for the knockout.
Blackwood lands a really nice looking cross but Hooper seems unphased.

Blackwood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Blackwood takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Blackwood gets tackled into the cage by Hooper. Hooper maintains the clinch.

Blackwood swings wildly with an uppercut but Hooper uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hooper lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Hooper pushes Blackwood back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
