Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Niaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Trenchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Trenchard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz gets a clinch.
Trenchard has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Niaz after a bit of a struggle.

Niaz tries to bum rush Trenchard with a series of wild strikes but Trenchard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Trenchard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Trenchard lands in his opponent's guard.
Trenchard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Niaz, up you get!
Trenchard dives in for a single leg takedown but Niaz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Niaz stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Trenchard throws up his legs and catches Niaz in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Niaz tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Trenchard! That came out of nowhere!

James Trenchard decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
