The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrell throws a series of punches but Fodetudo avoids them all with ease.
Fodetudo steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Farrell.

Fodetudo forces Farrell back against the cage and clinches.

Fodetudo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fodetudo slips a nice elbow through Farrell's hands, connecting with Farrell's forehead.
Farrell is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fodetudo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Fodetudo is nestled in close to Farrell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fodetudo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
